Giving Tree
Your willingness to invest in the lives of others is the spirit of the Giving Tree.
Your donation will enable us to scholarship a teen or a couple to attend a JH program.
Helping others get to the Ranch for the first time enables them to experience
the impact of this ministry. The Giving Tree Program is a way to accomplish
this goal, enabling many more people to come who would otherwise never make
the commitment or have the opportunity to experience a Ranch program.
How to give away a Giving Tree (Pay it Forward):
- For Giving Tree donations to be tax deductible, funds cannot be designated
to a specific person, couple, or immediate family member.
- Approach your nominee about attending a Ranch program:
- Give them a vision or testimony of your experience.
- Ask them if they might be interested.
- If they are, have them select their desired program and session, print out the following
forms, and mail it to our Birmingham address:

- Since our programs fill earlier each year, we urge you to return
your nominations by December 31st to ensure there are available funds
and space.

Read-A-Thon
The JH Ranch student Read-A-Thon, the reading and recording of the New Testament
onto cassette tape, has been designed to help you raise a portion
of the money for your time at JH Ranch, as well as to bring encouragement
and hope to those who are on the receiving end of this project. God promises
that His Word will not return void. As your group donates recorded cassette tapes of the
New Testament, we will send them to groups such as the Braille Institute, church libraries, nursing
homes, and individuals in need. The seeds planted will return thirty, sixty,
or even a hundred fold. If you are interested in participating in the
Read-A-Thon, please call our office in Birmingham at (205) 879-5601 or toll-free
at (800) 242-1224. We will send you an assignment to complete at home.
After your tapes have been mailed into our office, they will be compiled into
a complete set comprised of tapes submitted by other students and families.
